The whole school went and asked people for donations. We raised over $4000! The money we raised went to the Heart Foundation for research to help people with heart disease.

On the Jump Off day, the school went out on the basketball court and jumped our little hearts out! We all had a great day, and we got our hearts moving for the Heart Foundation!

 We are doing a three week gym course with Mr H at the Youth Club Hall. We have to walk there first – that’s our warm up!

Some of the activities we did in the first week were:

  • parallel bars
  • forward rolls
  • vaulting
  • balance beam
  • floor exercise
  • trying not to land on our heads
  • commando course
  • forward flips on the springboard
  • leapfrog

We’ll add another post with this week’s activities later.

We think that the Collingwood Football Club team is the best in the league! The Cats may have won the flag this year, but Mrs C and a quarter of our class still barrack for the Mighty Magpies.
