Marketplace

Posted on October 9th, 2007 in Uncategorized by Mrs C

Market Place is a pretend maths game in school where 5/6’s start a business to make pretend money. 5/6’s must draw a house of their own and place furniture in their house so they must go around to shops buying Furniture, Cars, Phones and more with their money they earn from their business. There are $100, $50, $20, $10 and $5 dollar bills. Marketplace goes for five weeks every Friday. It starts at 12 o’clock and finishes at 12:40. It is a great learning experience. Parents are welcome to come.

Besim and Tom, I hope you will post a few photos of Marketplace in action - it would be interesting to see a few of the businesses set up!
